There are those who grill with technology - thermometers and timers.
There are those who grill with their senses - when there’s enough smoke and the right smell, it’s done.
And then there are those who grill with their funny bone. You folks are who we’re talking to. We’ve got your grilling accessories right here.
First up is our Hail to the Chief Apron. This apron features an adapted version of the Presidential Seal (unauthorized use is regulated) with the eagle holding cooking utensils.
Whether you’re commander of the kitchen or the backyard grill, the adjustable neck strap and machine washable fabric make this just the ticket!
The next item the fun grillmaster wants is our Cow Oven Mitt. Great for protecting your hand when the platter is overflowing with super hot off the grill wonderfulness, this Holstein will help you party till the cows come home.
If you’re into grilling healthier then perhaps our Rainbow Trout Oven Mitt will be a better fit. All the fun of our Cow Oven Mitt but with the “good fat” - actually it’s fat free and free of that fishy smell that often accompanies the catch of the day.
A true friend unbosoms freely, advises justly, assists readily, adventures boldly, takes all patiently, defends courageously, and continues a friend unchangeably. ~William Penn
This great thoughtful gift set combines a Kim & Jason matted print with an 11 oz. coffee mug and a bag of Starbucks® House Blend coffee. The 8×10 print and dishwasher safe mug both feature Kim and Jason carefully preparing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with the quote: “Friends always stick together.” The 2.5 oz. bag of ground coffee brews a standard 10- to 12-cup pot of coffee, guaranteed to get you going in the morning.

“A true friend is like the shade of a great tree in the noonday heat,” said Margaret Fishback Powers. This full color print is a great gift for your most treasured friend. Matted in an 8×10 black aluminum frame.
My mom loves jewelry. In fact, she has her own line she designs and makes: Guest House Jewelry. The Cool Jewels ice cube tray was a natural gift for her.
Two things I like:
- The silicone tray makes it easy to get the jewel-shaped ice out of the trays without the banging and slamming of normal ice cube trays.
- The unique shapes are great party accessories. For a twist freeze juice to add to sparkling water, punch or mixed drinks.
One thing I don’t like:
- With only six cubes in the tray, you need to plan ahead to have enough on hand for more than two drinks. Of course if you have more than one tray that would fix the problem.
She may not be able to string them into a double strand necklace, but Mom does enjoy her Cool Jewels.

When we got the Spaghetti Ice Cream Maker at The Lemonade Stand I had to try it out. I love ice cream! And I believe my Italian heritage makes me genetically predisposed to love spaghetti ice cream.
Here’s three things I love about this product:
1) It is so simple - three easy-to-use inserts, quick preparation, you don’t need a ton of ingredients for the full effect.
2) Helpful hints in the instruction book - the people who make it, used it and gave me hints on how to get best results. From chilling the serving dishes in the freezer to using high quality ice cream for best texture, the hints made an simple dessert more enjoyable to prepare.
3) The end result is so fun! It just looks cool if you do all the fun extras to finish it! I blended fresh strawberries to make the red sauce. I balled up some chocolate ice cream for meatballs. And I melted white chocolate chips into a cupcake paper, let it cool, then grated it for the parmesan cheese.
One thing I didn’t like: it was difficult to prepare for many guests without meltage. I served 8 people this dessert. It might have gone better if I’d had people add their own toppings. I didn’t think of that so by the time the last person’s spaghetti was made, the first serving was quite soft. I think I could have done 4 servings without too much melting.
Other than my own overambition, the dessert was very well received. Clean up was easy and things like the strawberry sauce and white chocolate cheese keep well for future desserts. I would definitely serve this again.
Order yours today and get free ice cream (while supplies last)!

Buying gifts for babies can be the simplest or most difficult task. Some folks excitedly go for toys - like the ever-popular stuffed animals of various sizes and softness. People sometimes like to feel they are assisting the new family - buying stacks of diapers and Desitin. And there are friends who want to contribute to intellectual and cultural development - they invest in “Flashcards for the First Year,” “Tchaikovsky for Toddlers,” or “MC Escher Building Blocks.” Personally, I most often find myself drawn to things like tiny jean overalls and mini-hoodies and fuzzy footie pajamas.
Friends of mine welcomed a precious little girl in January. I was happy to be able to pick out some fun clothes for her from the Lemonade Stand.
I like the Diva Bib for two reasons outside the cuteness factor: 1) the length is such that a little one won’t outgrow it in the first month and 2) it has a double snap at the neck which makes it a harder for little hands to grab and remove while you’re in the middle of feeding her mashed sweet potato.
As for the Someday I’ll Demand a Pony Outfit, the message made me chuckle; that it’s a nice long-sleeve shirt with matching black pants is a bonus.
There is something sweet about little girls and pink. And I have to say that I think Brennan makes an adorable model* for this cute clothing - check out all the great snapsuits, bibs, and toddler tees along with other great baby gifts at the Lemonade Stand Baby Department.
*Special thanks to Kellie for the photos!
