My dad is one cool dad. He just retired and is like a kid who’s just been let out for summer vacation.

You see he’s got big plans for his retirement - he wants to play with cars.

He’s always loved playing with cars - he collects classic cars the way most folks collect plastic models - he’s super excited about getting to make that his full time job.

One of his passions is drag racing. His dragster is a ‘57 Chevy Sedan Delivery that will go a quarter-mile in 10 seconds.

Dad’s new project is building a racing truck with a few of his retired friends. It’s really awesome to see the childlike joy when he talks about the project.

I debated about getting him a gas card as a retirement + Father’s Day gift but I’m not sure where I’d get one of those for racing fuel…

Looking around the Lemonade Stand, I picked out a few things that would be fun for my cool dad.

Automoblox T9 Pick-Up Truck - he already has the C9 Sportscar that I got him for Christmas, now he can use both to build a suped-up racer.

Whatever Wall Clock - since the only time he needs to watch is at the drag strip.

Hammer Bottle Opener - man’s gotta have a way to crack into those cold beverages and be able to bang loose a lugnut.

Those are just a few of the goodies I found for my pop - what about your dad? Check out all the cool stuff for young at heart dads at the Lemonade Stand!
