The town where I went to college was known as the “Home of the ‘Barbs” because a spiked rail fence that would be the precursor to barbed wire was first displayed at the DeKalb County Fair.

Three DeKalb, IL residents saw this idea and created the indispensable fencing tool used around the world. Joseph Glidden, Jacob Haish, and Isaac Ellwood pooled their ingenuity and resources to begin a business that influenced ranching and farming though out the United States.

Though perhaps not as influential, our Barbed Wire TP is certainly indispensable for that dad who still dreams of being a cowboy or like my brother is a real cattleman.

Three-ply with a twist, this 200 sheet roll of toilet paper is a funny gift to give to any rough and tough guy. Adorned with three strands of Devil’s rope in the single square strand wire with four point coil barb (Patent # RE 6914, issued to Glidden on Feb. 18, 1876) creates a hilarious bathroom sight gag.
