A regular feature of my blog, “What Is It?” Wednesdays displays a fun photo of something found at the Lemonade Stand.

This gives me a chance to play a little with my camera and to share hopefully unique looks at some of our goodies for helping fight Adultitis.

Folks are encouraged to guess the identity of the mystery object in the comments! Click on the photo to see which Lemonade Stand item it is.

I love books, particularly old books. The way they feel, they way they smell, the way they sound as you turn the pages.

One of my dreams is to have a library in my home. I can’t wait to have walls and walls with shelves full of books.

It’s the reason I love the Book Table Clock we carry. This cool clock is made of heavy duty paper and takes one “AA” battery to keep time.

A sharp looking addition to any den or office or library, you get a Monday Madness deal of $16.77 today October 22nd.

Thank you to everyone who has commented or emailed their opinions for my Lemonade Stand packaging Pop Quiz.

Results so far:

Most popular with 24 first place points is the Comic Strip Label — I do enjoy choosing new comics each month :)

*Least popular so far is the Tissue Paper — While I like wrapping the goodies like a gift from me to you, it won’t break my heart to save my skills for Gift Wrap Wednesdays ;)

I realized that I didn’t set a cut-off for entries to be eligible for the prize. Consider this the official announcement: deadline for entry is 12:00 noon CST Thursday, October 18th.

Thank you to all who’ve contributed so far. If you haven’t weighed in yet, I’d appreciate your feedback on the Pop Quiz. Good luck to all the contestants!

This Monday Madness brings you the choice between three images perfect for celebrating fall!

Here in Wisconsin the air is chilled and the leaves are crisp and colorful. First up we offer our very popular “Fall Colors” print:

It’s just about time to start carving those pumpkins for Halloween, check out this fun “Pumpkin Carving” Weekend Print to bring back some squishy memories:

I’m a big football fan, have two fantasy football teams this season, and I love to play a little backyard pigskin pick-up. And those are just some of the reasons I really like this print, entitled “The Football”:

Each of these matted prints normally sells for $25.00 but they are yours for $15.00 each this Monday (10/15/07) only!

The folks at the US Post Offices in Madison are excellent - I’ve had some fun interactions (see Escape Plan Challenge #2 - find my story in the comments) that have cemented great relationships. There are a couple people I see on a regular basis and recently each of them commented on the outside of our order packages, “People must really like getting stuff from you guys.” and “I love the comic stickers and labels, do your customers appreciate them?”

So I decided I to give you a one question pop quiz. All you have to do is give me feedback on our order packaging inside and out. I’m going to list five things that I would love to have you rate most important down to least important. Don’t be shy - I always like to hear what you think.

Every one who participates - either by commenting below or via email will be entered to win a gift certificate to the Lemonade Stand.

Haven’t purchased anything from the Lemonade Stand yet? I think you’re missing out - check out these daily deals and cool new stuff. I bet you find a combination you can’t resist.

Here are five order packaging things to rank:

  • Comic Strip Label
  • Handwritten Address Label
  • Coupon for Next Order
  • Lemon Scent
  • Yellow Tissue

Let me know what is most important (#1) and least important (#5) and if you could, jot a note as to why. Thank you in advance - I really appreciate it!
